Susie Oryzak
Susie is a registered psychologist who is motivated to support clients to live a more meaningful, purposeful life. Susie provides clients with a supportive and caring therapeutic environment in which to explore and understand their experiences. Susie works with clients in an empathic and practical way to address psychological distress, improve emotional wellbeing and build an individual’s capacity to manage the challenges and obstacles that life brings. Guided by her client’s unique needs, Susie draws from evidence-based theory and treatment including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and the Gottman Institute approach to relationship counselling.
Through her experiences Susie has developed a passion for assisting clients with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, body image, interpersonal relationship difficulties, adjustment difficulties and perinatal mental health.
